God in your finances

Most have gone years in survival mode trying to make their finances work for them.

The problem with toil

Toiling for finances is what many are taught from a young age. They then carry these learned thought patterns into adulthood. Their finances cost them their blood, sweat and tears. You see it on them. They age quickly because of the stress involved... The boss that is not a good leader. The co-worker who goes out their way to raise their blood pressure. The client that complains about everything. These are relational issues.

There are other stress triggers like the:

  • Never-ending deadlines.

  • Excessive time spent from family.

  • Long commute.

  • Quick unhealthy meals eaten in-between.

  • Sleepless nights caused by overthinking.

Compensation comes but unfortunately toil money disappears just as quickly as it hits the bank. Many people reason that they need to enjoy the money that they have worked so hard for. This leads to excessive spending with hopes that it makes up for the sacrifices involved. Because important costs are usually ignored during this process, the sensation from "enjoying" does not last for much longer after the act.

These ignored costs accumulate and are soon covered for by debt. Debt in these cycles becomes a trap due to excessive interest rates. Leaving many stuck.

Invite God in your finances

Your finances can carry peace with them. God can bring you the opportunities that are meant for you. And He does not stop there. He then also graces you with the ability to carry the responsibilities. This relieves stress off of you. Helping you to function better. He then teaches you stewardship, according to His Kingdom. In His grace and mercy, He carries your finances and provides even better opportunities for you as time passes. This is yours for the taking. You can submit your finances to God.

Truth from the bible

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. - James 3:17. When you live according to God's wisdom you have a good reward for your labour. You learn it and you apply it. Then you can only reap.
